Developed in collaboration with Attuned Neurofeedback and Psychotherapy of NJ (ANPNJ, www.ANPNJ.com), the suite brings together expert-designed protocols shaped by more than 40 years of combined clinical experience. Designed for immediate use, these protocols support clinicians working across a wide range of presentations—from trauma and nervous system dysregulation to attention, mood, and somatic challenges.
At the core of the suite is a set of clinically derived protocols organized around the patterns clinicians most frequently encounter in practice—such as over- and underarousal, trauma-related dysregulation, somatic symptoms, and difficulties with attention, executive functioning, and self-regulation. Each protocol provides clear starting placements and frequency ranges based on neuroanatomical targets, allowing clinicians to move efficiently from assessment to intervention. The structure supports clinical decision-making in session, while still allowing for ongoing adjustment based on client response, making it applicable for both straightforward presentations and more complex, layered cases.
What sets the Attuned Core Protocol Suite apart is its balance of structure and flexibility. Clinicians are given clear, evidence-informed starting points, while retaining the ability to adjust placements and frequencies in real time—allowing sessions to remain responsive to each client’s nervous system while maintaining consistency across care. This is further enhanced by Divergence Neuro’s “Freeplay Mode” – to be released soon – developed to support responsive, in-session adjustments to protocols—giving clinicians greater control and adaptability as they tailor sessions moment-to-moment.
This release also introduces the Attuned Neurofeedback Method—a framework grounded in trauma research and over two decades of clinical application. By integrating neurofeedback with established therapeutic approaches, the method supports more consistent, trackable, and meaningful outcomes in clinical practice.
To support implementation, Attuned Neurofeedback and Psychotherapy of NJ (ANPNJ) offers dedicated training that guides clinicians through protocol selection, application, and interpretation, as well as the effective use of the Divergence Neuro platform with the Attuned Core Protocol Suite.
