How it Works
Assessment Protocol
We have developed a simple, fast, and effective protocol that uses EEG to rapidly generate a series of neuro metrics and indices. Based upon well-established research and clinical experience from The Swingle Clinic, these measures and the data from The Swingle Clinic’s ClinicalQ can then be used by you to assess your client’s current neurofunctional patterns and to assist in determining the most effective course of training.
The TheraQ Powered by ClinicalQ assessment uses the BrainBit Flex device and takes roughly 5 minutes to complete. The protocol includes a period of eyes closed, eyes open and under task measurement.
Calculated Metrics
TheraQ Powered by ClinicalQ calculates a series of metrics based on a wide variety of well known and validated EEG-based measurements. It produces calculations for things like Theta-Alpha ratios, Theta-Beta ratios, Alpha Shift, Alpha Recovery, Beta Shift under Task, Peak Alpha, Alpha, Beta and Theta Symmetry and much more.
You can use these metrics combined with your clinical experience and established research to help identify potential mental health concerns, as well as performance enhancement opportunities with your clients.
Additional Insights
We have also developed a series of additional insights using Dysregulation Indices. These indices, available in TheraQ Plus, can be used to provide additional information and guidance on areas of potential focus for your clients.
See at-a-glance whether or not your clients might be having issues with dysregulation in the areas of emotional processing, sleep, cognitive and / or stress / trauma and which metrics are driving that determination.
