Divergence Neuro Technologies Inc. (“Divergence” or the “Company”), a Toronto-based company focused on the research and development of a data-driven, cloud-based neurotherapy platform leveraging advanced neuropsychology and machine learning to improve mental health, is pleased to announce the launch of a new platform module called TheraQ.
TheraQ is a simple, fast, and effective assessment protocol that uses EEG to rapidly generate a series of neuro metrics and indices. Based upon well-established research and clinical experience, these measures can then be used by therapists to assess a client’s current neurofunctional patterns and to assist in determining the most effective course of training.
The TheraQ assessment uses the BrainBit Flex device and takes roughly 5 minutes to complete. The protocol includes a period of eyes closed, eyes open, and under task EEG data collection. Once the raw data is collected, the platform will then generate a series of neuro metrics based on well-established research and clinical experience for the therapist to review.
The TheraQ assessment and metrics are included in all existing Divergence Therapist subscriptions. There are also additional indices that summarize risks of dysregulations from different perspectives that a therapist can take advantage of for an incremental subscription fee with the TheraQ Plus add-on subscription.
