Divergence Neuro and Mobio Interactive Announce Strategic Partnership for Real-Time Stress Detection
Divergence Neuro has announced a strategic partnership with digital therapeutics company Mobio Interactive. The collaboration was officially unveiled at ISNR 2025 and introduces a breakthrough feature on the Divergence platform: real-time stress detection powered by AI-driven facial biomarker analysis.
Through a simple 30-second smartphone scan, the system analyzes facial metrics such as heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), and micro-expressions to generate an objective stress score. This enables clinicians to monitor client wellbeing with greater accuracy and consistency, both during and between sessions.
Objective Measurement for Better Clinical Outcomes
Traditionally, clinicians have relied on questionnaires and observation. Our new stress detection feature adds real-time, objective insights to enhance clinical decision-making. By incorporating validated digital biomarkers into routine practice, clinicians using the Divergence platform gain access to real-time, data-driven insights into each client’s mental state. These insights can inform decision-making, enhance treatment personalization, and improve outcomes over time.
“Real world prospective study demonstrates that outputs of the objective psychological stress deep neural network (DNN), in combination with a robust recommendation algorithm, can successfully guide therapeutic practise.” (Wang et al., 2025) The Mobio Interactive stress prediction algorithm has achieved a staggering 97% accuracy when benched against the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) when a minimum of 10 stress DNN measures are captured during the scale assessment period. Seamless Integration with the Divergence Platform
Mobio Interactive’s facial biomarker technology has been integrated directly into the Divergence platform, allowing clients to complete stress scans from their own devices. The results are securely shared with their clinician, providing a continuous feedback validation loop that supports more proactive and responsive care.
This collaboration demonstrates the potential of combining neurofeedback, AI, and digital health tools into a unified experience that empowers both clinicians and clients.
With this integration, Divergence Neuro becomes the first neurofeedback platform to offer real-time, objective stress measurement using AI and facial biomarkers. This not only enhances the clinical value of the platform but also sets a new benchmark for what mental health technology can deliver.
By combining validated neurofeedback protocols, cutting-edge machine learning, and seamless client-facing tools, Divergence is redefining how mental wellbeing is tracked, supported, and improved in clinical practice. For clinicians seeking precision, scalability, and engagement, all in one system. Divergence offers an unmatched solution.
Coming Soon...
The new stress detection feature will be available to licensed clinicians in the coming weeks as a paid add-on to the Divergence Neuro platform.
