Divergence Neuro Technologies, Inc. is looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Business Development Representative to find, nurture and develop leads into platform registrations. This is a full time position that may require some percentage of time to be spent in our office located in downtown Toronto.

Divergence is a Toronto-based startup focused on the research, development, and commercialization of a data-driven, cloud-based biofeedback platform based on EEG-analysis, EKG-analysis and machine learning to improve mental health for all. Our platform and research enhance clinical and personal mental health assessments by supplementing self-reporting methods with easy-to-understand, mobile EEG-based neuro rapid assessments, and offering individualized neurofeedback and biofeedback protocols driven by machine learning and AI to better help clinicians, therapists, coaches, and other service providers improve client outcomes and scale their impact.

Your day-to-day will involve:
- Locating potential customers in the mental health services, peak performance training, and other related health service spaces that can or have been using neurofeedback and biofeedback systems,
- Identifying key account targets and prioritizing high growth prospect opportunities,
- Working with Marketing to take over the development and nurturing of qualified leads,
- Speaking with prospects over phone and video calls to identify their needs, objectives, and objections,
- Demoing the capabilities of the Divergence Platform to address each prospect’s needs, objectives and objections,
- Working with the various internal teams to provide the support that customers require in a manner that will delight them,
- Keeping information about each prospect up-to-date in the CRM system,
- Act as a liaison with the Product Management team to provide insights from prospects on new features and new product development requirements that could drive new sales.
You must have:
- Customer centric mindset and a strong desire to see our customers succeed,
- Experience in selling SaaS based products and services,
- Proven track record in developing leads and closing new sales opportunities,
- Great written and verbal communication skills in English,
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently,
- A keen desire towards continuous learning and demonstrable cases where you have applied this to learn new things extremely quickly,
- Open mind and proven mental agility to pivot if and when required without impact to productivity and timelines,
- Resourcefulness to identify requirements and find solutions creatively.
Preference will be given if you have:
- Previous startup experience,
- Previous experience selling to the health care or clinical mental health field,
- Biomedical technology experience.
Your education:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business.
